The American legion Bemidji presents Ride for the Troops.
When 5-21-2006 at the American
legion (downtown Bemidji) beginning at 8:30 to 11:30 for breakfast. The ride
started at noon. The ride was aprox 100 miles and
had a Police escort in and out of Bemidji.
What Fund raiser to buy Aafes cards for our
local Bemidji National Guard troops who are currently serving in Iraq.
The family readiness group in Bemidji
will ultimately get the proceeds and buy/send the cards to the troops.
A National Guard Hum-V was along
for the ride. With the acception of the insurance that is required for the
ride all proceeds will go to the
troops.

starting and ending point.
