PLACE: GORDY BUCHANAN MEMORIAL RANGE 6 miles south of Cass Lake on Hwy 371 and ˝ mile west on Co Rd. 145 (turn west off Hwy 371, .08 mi. South of mile marker 108)
The Public and Spectators Welcome! Range Membership not required to shoot the event. Individual and family range memberships are available. Shoot 363 days a year, 9:00 AM to sunset every day.
Firearm and Equipment Needs: Rifle suitable for varmint type shooting at 200 yards, any weight any sight, if scoped any power. Varmint type bullets preferred, big game bullets not desirable, military type armor piercing bullets prohibited. 15 rounds to do one set may do more that one set, time permitting.
Course of Fire: Steel prairie dog size targets at 200 yards. One set will be 15 rounds, 5 rounds from each position, a, b, & c. Sitting on chair with bi-pod support Sitting on ground with bi-pod support Standing with bi-pod support Chair and bi-pods provided by the range. No sighting shots on the 200 yard range the day of the shoot. 100 yard ranges will be open for limited equipment checks if needed. Shooters are urged to have their equipment ready to go before the day of the shoot.
Cost to Shoot: $5.00 per set.
