Mission Statement
The Mission of the Bemidji Area Senior
Center is to provide opportunities for older adults to develop and sustain their potential as individuals and citizens of our community.

Our purpose is to meet the needs of seniors for fellowship, learning, information and recreation and to work cooperatively with other agencies in serving the needs of older adults.

BCCOA Board of Director's Meeting

The Paul Bunyan Senior Activity Center Board of Director's Meeting is held every fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM in the Paul Bunyan Senior Activity Center Conference Room.  Members are welcome to attend.

If you have an item that you wish to be placed on the agenda, contact Diane at 751-8836 at least three weeks prior to the board meeting.

Funding
The Paul Bunyan Senior Activity Center supports itself through yearly fundraisers, sales of our Recycled Greeting Cards, profits from sales from the Senior Creations Gift Shop, Memberships, and Donations.  We also receive funding from our local United Way. 

Committees
The Paul Bunyan Senior Activity Center operates with committees that are approved by the Board of Directors.  Our committees are as follows: Finance/Resource Committee, Nominating Committee, Program Committee, Volunteer Support Committee and Building Committee.  With the exception of the Executive Committee, members who are not on the Board may become members of a committee.  For questions about our committees, call or
