Mentoring Program The Bemidji Figure Skating Club Mentoring program is designed to give skaters an opportunity to gain experience in teaching as a volunteer within our own club. Requirements are as follows: All applicants must be current BFSC/USFSA member. Must have
BASIC SKILLS:
Mentor under coach for Snow Plow Sam, Basic Skills 1 - 6, MIF,
Freestyle- Sessions to coincide with BFSC schedule. Application to head coach and BFSC Board of Governors. Junior
Advance:
Private Lessons: ·
Freestyle
For skaters 16 years or older who have passed Novice Freestyle
and must have mentored in Basic Skills program at BFSC or have 1 year
experience teaching Basic Skills at another location. ·
Moves in Field
For skaters 16 years or older who have passed Novice MIF and must
have mentored in Basic Skills program at BFSC or have 1 year experience
teaching Basic Skills at another location. ·
Dance For
skaters 16 years or older who have passed Pre-Silver Dance test and must
have mentored in Basic Skills program at BFSC or have 1 year experience
teaching Basic Skills at another location.
Mentor under BFSC approved private lesson coach and supervised by Sessions to coincide with BFSC schedule. Application to head coach and BFSC Board of Governors.
