Our guild is composed of spinners, weavers and wannabes. Many members of the guild also knit, crochet, make baskets or have other consuming hobbies. Several members have fiber animals.

Our meetings are held the first Saturday of the month, at Baker Park Loom Room. This is located on 3rd floor of Baker Park Elderly Housing between 8th & 9th Streets just east of Paul Bunyan Drive, downtown Bemidji. Access parking lot to east of building by using either 8th or 10th Streets. If no one is in lobby to let you in, phone up to Conference room. We'll get you in!

We begin each meeting at noon with a bag lunch. Hot beverages are provided.
The afternoon may hold a member's demonstration of a skill she wants to share.
We try to have a Show & Tell time, and challenge members to bring something they've accomplished since the last meeting -- in progress or finished doesn't matter -- just keep working everyone!

We participate in many fiber related things in our community, including:

-Demonstrating in local schools and other public places.

-Spinning demonstration at Beltrami County Fair each year.

-The guild is a member of Gallery North, a cooperative artists gallery located in the Ink Spot Press Building at the corner of 3rd Street & Irvine Avenue, downtown Bemidji.

We have discontinued mailed newsletters and will rely on the website and emailed reminders to get news out.

If you have anything that you want announced to the group,
please contact Patti or Linda S.
