Laverne “Pedie” Pederson is a writer living in Bemidji, Minnesota. Pedie's umbilical cord became wrapped around his neck during his birth as a result he came into the world in July, 1960 with Cerebral Palsy. In the course of Pedie's life he has learned to overcome trials and tribulations beyond the scope of understanding for most people.

He lives on his own, rides a bike and has written five autobiographical books about his experiences. Pedie enjoys sharing his story with individuals and groups of people.

To spend time with Pedie is a joyful, inspiring experience. His positive disposition and playful attitude are infectious.
